MISSION

As a Proposal Manager at Exothera, you will be part of an experienced and welcoming team, who works towards a common goal. We present our value proposition with honesty and integrity, ensuring our partners feel heard. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between business development, operations and technical specialists, to build service offerings and field technical questions from prospective clients. You will become an essential contributor, enabling Exothera to build relationships with those developing Vaccines, Cell and Gene Therapies, to grow our viral vector and mRNA manufacturing services. 

With great support and mentorship, you will enable to business development team to propose our differentiated value propositions, including The 25L-2000L ExoReadyTM AAV platform, Adenovirus manufacturing, End to End mRNA services for RUO & GMP using the NtensifyTM platform & LNP encapsulation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build deep, trusting relationships with BD, technical, and operational team members. 
• Bring positive energy, ideas, and empathy to meetings with your colleagues.
• Present our value propositions with honesty and integrity.  
• Draft proposals for our prospective clients and internal partners (Quantoom and Unizima).
• Estimate prices and timelines in collaboration with technical and operational team members.
• Attend client site visits as required.
• Work with Operations and Supply Chain Management to ensure accurate pipeline data are available.
• Keep the CRM system up to date.
• Help Exothera continually improve its processes and tools. 
• Help build the Exothera brand and maintain customer satisfaction. 

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

• Adaptable, empathetic, collaborative, motivated, and curious. 
• PhD or Master’s degree in a relevant Biosciences subject.
• At least 3 years of technical experience working in the lab, preferably with viral vectors, cell culture, or mRNA.
• Previous client-facing experience preferred.
• Solid scientific background, with the ability to learn about Cell and Gene Therapy, viral vector, and mRNA manufacture.
• Excellent attention to detail. 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in written English.
• Belgium based preferable
• Experience in scientific writing.
• Ability to deal with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
